After going through an overnight transition of needing digital tools and virtual showrooms at the beginning of the pandemic, the fashion industry is evolving into the next phase. JOOR Chief Customer Officer Jennifer Rosado told PYMNTS’ Karen Webster that fashion businesses are asking, “‘Now that I’ve gotten more comfortable with unassisted online orders from my buyers, can I get those payments done digitally as well?’”

AB InBev Launches BEES B2B eCommerce Platform in UK

Budweiser Brewing Group U.K. owner AB InBev is rolling out its B2B eCommerce platform called BEES in the U.K., which will give its retailer customers more insights and flexibility. BEES was initially piloted in 2020 in the Dominican Republic and is now used in over 17 countries. With it, business owners can browse for products, place orders, set up deliveries, work with invoices and more.

India’s Aksum Trademart, a B2B startup that helps supply raw materials such as steel, coal, tiles, paint and polymer to small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), is looking to raise $25 million to expand and invest more technology into the company. Co-Founder Ankit Jain noted the future of the digital supply chain will require most companies to outsource, making the right tech essential.
